Shortly after the events of the original Wrong Turn film of 2003, a group of six contestants are thrown together for six days in a simulated post-atomic wasteland as part of their taking part in a reality television show called The Ultimate Survivalist: The Apocalypse, which is hosted by former soldier Dale Murphy Rollins). The winner will get $100,000, but they don't realise that they will be fighting for their very lives against a group of inbred cannibals, deep in the wilds of West Virginia. Apparently a chemical leak has lead to their current state.

This bunch comprises (Braun), a loudmouth X-gamer, Elena (Lowe), the token bimbo, Jake (Battle), an all conquering college football star, Mara (Palladino), the innocent of the group, Nina (Leerhsen), a loner, and Amber (Alonso), a lesbian marine. It doesn't take long until you are in 'who will get killed next' territory.
