In the second series Nancy and Conrad start their own drug growing operation in a rented suburban house. She introduces others into her business, and she even marries her lover, a DEA agent as part of a complicated deal. Meanwhile her friend Celia (Perkins) runs for office on an anti drug ticket. As her sons find out about her rel source of income Nancy has even more problems to handle including betrayal, rival gangs and a spot of juvenile delinquency.

The second season, continues a subtle blend of humour and darker issues. After the initial series this is able to concentrate on the dilemmas surrounding Nancy's domestic life and a growing number of people in on the secret.
