A three disc set that has the entire three series on it, as we see Reginald Iolanthe Perrin (Rossiter) realise that life at Sunshine Desserts under his boss C.J. (Barron) just wasn't worth living. One John Stonehouse later and he has resurfaced and isn't recognised by anyone, not even his long suffering wife (Yates). Claiming to be a close friend he soon takes up with his wodow and even starts work at sunshine Desserts before being discovered. Later he opens a shop called Grot which is dedicated to selling useless objects at very expensive prices. Unfortunately it is a huge success and he has to try to tear down his own creation. Finally he decides to open up a commune and with the old gang lined up he welcomes his one and only guest.

This runs for a staggering 629 minutes so if you have ten and a half hours free or if you prefer some smaller slices then Perrin is for you. Rossiter was at his peak when this was filmed and re-runs still attract large audiences and it can still be fresh to new viewers.

Based on books by David Nobbs, Perrin was a comedy hero to many during the late 70's.
